LIFE GOES ON

(EXCERPTS FROM CBS/AP NEWS SEPT. 12, 2007)

US LIFE EXPECTANCY RISES TO 78:

According to US Census Bureau report, an American baby born today can expect to live just under 78 years of age. This was reported as the longest life expectancy in US history. But the report also indicated that at least 40 other countries live longer. A tiny country in Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain, called Andorra has the longest life expectancy at 83.5 years. Japan, Macau, San Marino and Singapore ranked second, third, fourth and fifth respectively.

FAST FACT: Life expectancy for women continues to be five years LONGER than for men! (Gee, wonder why?)

News correspondent Dean Reynolds reports” while American lives longer, they are also working longer. He added that almost a quarter of people ages 65 – 74 years old now are still on the job, or looking for one”

Eddie, that women tend to have longer life expectancy than men should not surprise you. Women have discovered the most effective way of handling if not completely obliterating stress from their lives: They go shopping. Now men will never really grasp that, will they? How many husbands you know including yourself enjoy shopping with their wives. They usually sit down somewhere waiting and stressing about the family budget blowing out.

Yes I heard the news last night. This is only for those babys born today. That means we will be living longer than 78 as we were born 60 years ago. ha ha ha. It defends upon God's will. Eating right kind of food, exercise and stop worrying will help a lot. Many old Americans work as volunteer and so they stay strong and healthy.

Based on what I read from the link that Ernie gave us,we,jri class 1963 who basically are in tha same age level have a life expentancy of 78 years under normal conditions.that means we still have 18 years to enjoy reading or posting in our blog.So we have to make the most of it. But what happens after 18 years,we're all gonna die at the same time? In this case,I'm sure only God knows.

Let us see how true is this. I still believe that through our trust and faith to our Lord God, He will give us good health of mind and body and will take us in a nice way not in sickness or in accident. Let us keep on updating in our blogsite what's happening to each one of us.
