A Note from Nelia

I have just talked with Nelia a few minutes ago. She is on her way to the hospice where her Mom is presently confined because of pneumonia. According to Nelia, her Mom has not recovered, she is under hospice care and she is only given comfort care as she is too weak to be under the respirator.
Nelia is requesting prayers for her Mom as they have already accepted and offered her to the Lord. It is just a matter of time and they will bring her home to the Philippines since it is her request.
Let us offer our prayers for Nelia's mother.

Oh, Nelia

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum's condition and understand full well how you must feel as we went through the same pain about 10years ago.

May you and the rest of the family have the strength of heart and body as you go through this and the peace of mind in the knowledge that your mother has been given all the love and the care possible. I am sure she knows this and I am also sure from personal experience with my mum that her thoughts at the moment are not for her but for you and the family.

Be strong and brave for her but also take care of yourself.

Our thoughts are with you.

Luz,Ernie,Cora and all my batchmates, thank you for all the prayers, that's the only thing that keeps us going. As difficult as it is,we have to offer her completely and wholeheartedly knowing that the LORD will take care of her.She look so peaceful now and most of the time she is sleeping. We have assured her that we are all grown up now and she doesn't have to worry about us anymore. That her and tatay have done their best for us and that they didn't fail in bringing us up.We had a choice , if we wanted to put her again in a respirator but we saw how much she was suffering and she's not gonna get better anyway, her stomach and kidney are not functioning anymore. The more fluid they introduce to her body, the more fluid goes to her lungs so we all decided that it would be too much for her.I know that our decisions are under the guidance of the holy spirit.
Thank you again for all the prayers.

Dear Nelia,
Last Saturday Fred and I were on our way to Balanga and I told Fred,Tapos na pala yung room na dagdag sa house ninyo.Siguro kako Nelia made that para paguwi niya para sa reunion.Fred replied that,Siguro baka iuwi na si Nanay mo at dito na aalagaan because no one is totake care of her dahil di yata naapprove yun kinukuha mong pamangkin. To my surprise when I attended mass that afternoon yun ang ibinalita sa akin ni Luz.Di kasi ako nagoopen ng blog natin lately.
I was in the same situation 40 years ago when I have to offer my mother to Him when I observed how she suffered.Inggit nga ako sa inyong mga kabatchmates ko na nakasama nang matagal ang inyong mga parents. At least kayo naipadama ninyo sa kanila ang pagmamahal na payback time for what they have done for us.You have so much to thank the Lord for the time that Nanay ay ipinahiram Niya sa inyo.
Be strong sister Kaya mo yan You are now in the same situation as the Aquino family with former pres.Cory
Fred and I will be offering our prayers for you and for Nanay .

Jo,we also pray for Pete and your Tatay as well.Regards.
