Thanks again for this posting and thanks too to Nelia. We batchmates let us always think positive. Always keep on mind that we are still young and healthy. Remembering our 2010 reunion will help us look younger and let us always smile not only in the morning and let us not accept that this posting will happen to us.

Larps, aging is nothing to be ashamed or scared of. It is a natural process and will happen to everyone unless one dies early like Diana the Princess of Wales did. Of course we will never know how she'd look as an old woman. Superficially we can hide it (that's what cosmetics and surgeries are there for), mentally we can ignore or deny it, emotionally some of us never get there, and by healthy lifestyle we may postpone it but the fact is we will all eventually get it.And hopefully the WISDOM that aging brings. Remember your post about the inner beauty? But inevitable as getting old is, we can always laugh about it, really laugh about it and release the endorphins, the magic hormones for the feel-good mood. Besides, wrinkled beyond repair, grey or bald, bent and twisted with arthritis, crippled, disabled, whatever, Batch 63 will be friends and family for the rest of our natural lives.

Nelia,

Whilst you and I obviously find these images absolutely hilarious, there are some of us who may have been quite put off by them. It is probably because the implications of old age are lurking just around the corner for our batch and can be really scary. But I feel that laughing if off and at ourselves can help ward off the spectral fear of last- stage and inevitable aging and help us enjoy whatever stage we are in. What d'ya think?
