UPDATE FROM U.S.

To update you batchmates, I was able to contact Sally Villazor who is based in Toronto Canada. Since she retired last year I lost communication with her through e-mail because I only have her office e-mail address. Through my frequent communication with Ernie del Rosario also through e-mail who is also based in Toronto Canada, I was able to get the phone number of Sally. Manny Rivera (Baluyot before) who lives in the same State as I am, keeps on calling me and asking phone numbers of our batchmates as he loves to call our batchmates para mangumusta. (Walang magawa sa office at naghahanap ng kausap) I gave Sally's phone number but he said he called the number morning and evening but it keeps on ringing and no answer at all. Last Saturday, I tried to call Sally's home phone number and luckily she answered the phone. We talked for almost one hour all about our batchmates and last reunion and batchmates get together. I told her our reunion of the decade will be in January, 2010. She responded that she could not come because she has asthma and she is no longer use to warm weather. Ang sabi ko malamig pag January at maganda and weather. Still she does not want to come. Ang sabi ko sa kanya ang experience ko noong last na reunion natin. Na napakasarap ng pakiramdam ko noong makita kong muli ang dati kong classmates more than 40 years ago. Wala raw siyang matandaan sa mga classmates natin kung hindi si Josie Javier kasi magpinsan sila. Si Ernie daw nakausap din niya minsan sa e-mail noong nagtatrabaho ba siya at minsan daw five years ago nakasalubong niya sa daan si Lourdes Garcia. The rest wala na siyang matandaan sa classmates natin. I told her that one time I will plan to come and visit Toronto but not decided yet when and hope to see her, Lourdes and Ernie. She said she will be traveling in Europe with friends.

Another batchmate that I have communication oftenly through e-mail and phone is Lourdes Cruz (Garcia before). I really like her so much. Totoo siyang tao, hindi plastic and I know you too batchmates you will like and love her as she is. Naku humanda kayo may sense of humor si Lourdes. She will be coming home for our reunion.

I also have frequent communication through telephone with Mike, Annie, Editha and Manny and of course hindi ko makakalimutan si Ernesto Santos na kung hindi ko puputulin and aming usapan kasi dito siya sa office tumatawag ay aabot siguro ng maghapon. But I love talking with him. With Nelia I communicate with her through e-mail. Ops I got an e-mail from Ben Baluyot from Sydney Australia confirming he will be there in our reunion of the decade.

By the way Manny not sure yet if coming home. He said he talked to Lolita Zulueta and said she is not coming home too in January for our reunion.
