EUREKA! JOSIE IS ALIVE AND WELL

Greetings from the Garden State (News Jersey). If you're wondering where Josie is, have no fear! She is alive and doing well with hubby, Pete in tow. The couple is touring the northeastern part of the USA. They have been in California since the beginning of the year. With brothers and sisters of the Macalua spread out in California, Nevada, and Texas to keep them company. We are fortunate to be graced with their presence, when they landed in the Big Apple (New York City) last Friday roaming the whole city, with the Pangilinan family as their host. Today, being a federal holiday, we are all gathered here in our little town of Toms River. Pres. Mike Cruz and family came, along with Pete Macalua's long time friends and former colleagues from north western New Jersey, Mat and Precy Yap and son Tata. Needless to say, it is a mini-reunion by all counts, and still going. More pictures to follow. Good day everyone!

Am happy to see the "reunion of
three Batch'63 families ". From the smiles on the faces of Annie, Jo, and Pres Mike, I can see the overwhelming feelings of joy, camaraderie and most of all love!
Isn't it so heartwarming to meet people who have been part of your life in a far away place? I share your happiness, batch mates! Thanks ,Eddie for this blog.

Happy to see you even in pictures and feel sorry for not being there and see you guys in person, but happy seeing some of our batchmates when I came to Philippines. Now I am so tired and keep on sleeping. Talk to you later.

Eddie, thanks so much for posting these pics, very nice,I saw the rest of the pics also from wallgreens.I'm so glad that Jo and Pete are having a good time. They have gone to so many places already in such a very short period of time.I'm looking forward to seeing them with Fely and Meling in Oxnard when Luz arrives in March.

The pleasure is ours, Nelia. Our regret was that we have but a very short time alloted for us to entertain and show them more of the neighborhood. That, and the winter weather aside, we've had a great time with Jo and Pete. On the lighter note, they did bring some California sunshine for the week along with their warm companionship, topped with Pres. Mike Cruz and family's presence. It was really nice! Stay tuned when Luchie show up in March!
