heritage festival

Just went to a Heritage Festival in Placentia. There were lots of marching bands, Butch Cassidy, horsewomen. The parade was superb until the shit hit the fan!

Well, I am, I really am!

Been 'absent' from our blog for so many months now.

So, I'm taking this opportunity to say 'BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to those whom I was not able to greet on their special day.

To say "CONGRATULATIONS" to those whom I should have congratulated for special achievements, addition to their families, etc. etc.

To offer my "CONDOLENCES" to those who lost their loved one.

I guess I've hurdled the '180-degree turn' in my life here in the U.S.

Let's Exercise Our Minds

I have a 3-minute egg timer and a 4-minute egg timer.

The problem is that I need to measure 5 minutes. Can this be done with the two timers?

The timers are the old-fashioned kind that contain sand ... and you turn them over when they have completely emptied the sand into the bottom chamber.

Congratulations on the Newest Member of the Family.

Fely and Meling have a new angel in their growing brood of grandchildren. Gail gave birth to a baby girl in Australia last August 31. It's always a joyous occasion in the family when a newborn arrives. Congratulations, Lola and Lolo !
