Hi, Lucille,
This is shocking news but thank you for posting it as we would not have known if you didn't.

Julita is my mother's first cousin. Which sister died? When's the funeral? I am contacting my brother who may or may not know about it.

I believe that Renato is distant relative too. What is his sister's name?

This is truly heart-wrenching losing two of our extended batch family members.

Lucille,

This is indeed a heart-rending news for all of us!

Rene is married to my niece, and he is well-loved for his quiet and unassuming disposition.

Please convey to Rene and Julieta my family's deepest condolence!

Cora, Ernie and Ed and Annie,

It is Julita's sister Naida,Cora.Erlinda is the name of Renato's sister and they will be both interred on Thursday, tomorrow. Naida in Balanga and Erlinda in Orion.
Some batchmates had gone to the wake of both as they usually schedule when close relatives of Batch '63 pass away.
we hope all of you are doing good take care.

Thank you again, Lucille. I am thankful we have the blog in place, for although we may not be actively posting at this stage, we can still be updated on significant moments in our batch's life.

Mr brother went to Naida's wake. I regret very much that we cannot physically be there as Naida was an aunt to Eddie B and myself, her father, Eddie's paternal grandmother and my maternal grandmother were siblings. The loss is deeply personal. Kindly convey to Julita and her family our profound sadness and sympathy.

And again, much thanks.

To Julita,Rene and families,
We share your grief in the passing of your loved ones.It is something that most of us have experienced so we know how you feel.Naida was also a close relative of ours and a classmate of my sister,Angelina,I'm sure they will also have a mini reunion up there as there's quite a few of them who have gone before us,like Chit Rodriguez,Warlito Sanchez and Perting's brother Eddie, may they all rest in peace.
My prayers and deepest synpathy at this most difficult time to both your families.
