LUNCH AT RANCHO CUCAMONGA

On a cloudy Monday morning, Annie and I stop by Nelia's place for a short visit. It was brief but sweet stop over coming from San Diego. Nelia treated us to a nice lunch at one of the local eateries, (Mimi's Cafe ) on her way to work. We managed to drop her off, and even gave us a quick tour inside the lab. If we were not in such a rush, I would have volunteered to have my cholesterol level checked. We made a deal to visit her again, next month. See you then, Nel! Thanks for a great lunch, and the nice time we've had.

Dinner and Videoke Night April 26- Butch Bautista's Place

The dinner hosted by the boys of the batch was transformed into a night of songs of our generation; medleys of Beatles,Tom Jones, Engelbert..and more. The videoke at Butch beautiful Kubo inspired non singers to join in the song marathon. While the food at the dining table : palatak, alimasag,talibubo,pork barbecue,dinuguan panct ,corn and pakwan filled our gastronomic needs. There are more pictures next post.

The dinner was sponsored by Mike and Josie.We enjoyed the steamed tilapia, halabos na hipon, alimasag, nilagang ampalaya okra talong ,adobo ,pancit and halo-halo. We enjoyed the antics of Fredo, Terry and Rollie's jokes. Pres. Mike was in his usual jolly self. The boys that were there include Butch,Leonardo Cruz Perting, Renato ,Ramon while the ladies present were Mercy, Lucy, Emma, Violeta, Julie, Belen, Aida,Rosa,Carmen, Ofelia . On the 26th, the boys will sponsor the dinner at Butch place in Sta. Ana and on the 30th , a lunch tendered by the birthday celebrators from Jan to April at Emma's Kubo sa Bukid in Araro. As always, it will be fun fun, fun !
